It is rumored that Season two will revolve around the issue of sexual assault on college campuses and how it impacts people’s lives.

In a statement, Netflix said: “The show tackles all aspects of this serious problem with humor, sensitivity, and honesty.” This season is sure to bring us some powerful messages and personal stories: Devi Deveaux, a new character to the show and former love interest of Maitreyi.

Aneesa’s first appearance on the show was when she attempted to set up an informal meeting with Devi in order to talk about what happened between her and her alleged perpetrator but found out that he had been expelled from college for violating their sexual assault policy.

This season will be a great way to start the conversation about sexual assault on college campuses.

It’s time for us to stop living in denial and start talking about the issues that have been plaguing our society.
