Emilia Clarke In Marvel Secret Invasion. Other News – Cast Rumours, Release Date Speculations and Plot Updates.

Emilia Clarke is set to join the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a major way as she has been cast as the female lead opposite Chris Evans’ Captain America. The British actress will take on the role of ‘Sharon Carter,’ who is best known in comics for being Cap’s (real) first love and Peggy Carter’s niece.

Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige confirmed that Emilia will star in “Captain America: Civil War” alongside an ensemble cast, which also includes Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, Anthony Mackie and Chadwick Boseman.

Marvel’s Secret Invasion release date on Disney Plus:

Just like the force of Skrulls that the show is focused on, Marvel’s Secret Invasion is sneaking up on us (for now). We only know to expect the series to arrive on Disney Plus … at some point. This time around though, there’s one major difference; it is no longer just about coordinating with each other and relying on their powers alone, but also know when they need more help from others… which brings us our newest recruits!

Emilia Clarke will be joining Marvel Cinematic Universe as Sharon Carter opposite Chris Evans’ Captain America. The British actress will take on the role of ‘Sharon Carter,’ who is best known in comics as the one-time love interest of Steve Rogers.

Currently, the cast of Marvel’s Secret Invasion is short. How short? Jackson and Mendelsohn are only two of the five of the names we know. On April 19, word broke in The Hollywood Reporter that Olivia Colman (The Crown, The Favourite, Fleabag) is in talks for a role in the series. And on April 20, Deadline broke the news of Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones) joining the series.

What is Marvel’s Secret Invasion?

Secret Invasion; was a comic book; a storyline that ran through the titles; of both Captain America and The Avengers; from 2005 to 2006. The storyline; also crossed over; into other comics, such as Iron Man, Thor, Fantastic Four and X-Men. This epic event; had been building since 2002; when it became clear that Earth; might soon be invaded; by an alien race; known as the Skrulls; in their own words they are “a shapeshifting race of technologically; advanced beings; who were part organic and part mechanical.”

The first shots; fired on earth; happened during the miniseries; House Of M which took place post Civil War; where mutants; ruled supreme with Magneto being crowned king; of all humanity. In House Of M, the Scarlet Witch; used her powers of probability; to alter reality and create a world; in which mutants; were the dominant species. In this alternative universe, Earth was ruled by Magneto with humanity as second-class citizens who are forced into ghettos for containment.

The Illuminati plot against House of M when they find out about it and erase its existence while also restoring everything to normal; however, there is still something not quite right – all the heroes seem slightly off somehow but can’t put their finger on what seems wrong until Iron Man discovers that every hero has lost their individual memories except Black Widow, Spiderman (who had left earth during house of m), Wolverine and Hulk – all four being members that did not participate in any events during House of M.
