Source: IGN.com

The Young Justice creator has confirmed a return of the cast for Season Four. This means that we will see our favourite superheroes, Robin (Damian Wayne), Kid Flash (Wally West II), and Wonder Girl (Cassandra Sandsmark). They are set to be joined by Aqualad, Black Lightning, Blue Beetle, as well as other heroes from DC’s roster!

Why was the show cancelled in 2013?

Young Justice was cancelled in 2013 after two seasons due to low viewership ratings on Cartoon Network. However, since then, it has gained popularity with an audience that is much older than the target demographic, which consisted mostly of children aged between six and eleven years old. As a result, there have been petitions demanding its release at Comic-Con conventions all over North America.

Young Justice Season Four is set to be a continuation of the series. It will answer questions such as “What happens next?” and provide closure for those who have been following its story since 2011. The show creators also want to explore more about these characters’ pasts, specifically Aqualad’s backstory, which has only ever been touched on in passing before.

Show Screening:

Adult Swim is the network that will air this fourth season, but it is not yet confirmed when they plan on airing it or how many episodes there will be. All we know so far is that it won’t happen until 2019, at least! This may disappoint some fans considering DC Universe was launched last year with Young Justice content available from day one–but we hope that DC has a plan to draw Young Justice fans back in with the help of their new streaming service.
