The story of a group of children living in Hawkins, Indiana, and their friends who help them battle against supernatural forces that threaten their very existence is gripping from the very beginning. It’s no wonder why this show has become such a phenomenon! This post will discuss all you need to know about what happened on Stranger Things Season 4 so far, as well as some updates on what we can expect for future episodes and seasons.

Cast details of this season:

Stranger Things Season four ratings and premiere:

Season four is expected to be released on October 31, 2019, with Netflix releasing a trailer for it on June 18th that was met positively by fans of the series.

What will be in the new season?

We know that Eleven is coming back for the new season. Barb will also make an appearance in Season Four, but we don’t think she’s going to be alive and well.

In addition to this teaser video, Netflix released a full trailer on July 18th that showed more scenes from the new season–including one with Hopper (David Harbour) at his daughter Sara’s gravesite.

It might not just be all about Hawkins anymore:

The Duffer Brothers have said they are shooting around Atlanta, which means there may be other areas outside of Hawkins where some major actions could take place. It would only seem natural if our heroes venture out into these territories to look for other human survivors, but it will be interesting to see how that pans out as the new season unfolds.

What do people think about this season?

the 16-episode Season Four is said to have a “stronger emphasis” on character development and story arcs over action scenes or horror sequences. This makes sense because Netflix recently released an image from one episode where Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown) can be seen crying next to Bob Newby’s gravesite–which was put in harm’s way during the final battle against the Mind Flayer at Starcourt Mall near Hawkins Middle School. The showrunners told Entertainment Weekly they believe “the Duffers are exploring more complex themes than ever before.” And, they’re focusing on the human condition–especially in light of “a world where it’s not clear what is good or bad, who you can trust or why you should.”

The audience gets to see more backstories and arcs being explored. It’s very refreshing because many people are used to fighting scenes from previous seasons, but now, with this season, we get a break for the most part from that. We also have a new character introduced, such as Priah Ferguson (Emmie), who plays Erica Sinclair – Lucas’s sister, and there is Samwise Gamgee (Dacre Montgomery), Max Mayfield (Sadie Sink). The cast really does make up some of the best characters ever seen on TV- which has been consistent throughout the course of the series.

It’s new to see a character who is capable and has great power but doesn’t use their powers or don’t know about them at all, with Max being one of those characters, and it leads to some interesting storylines for this season. These are just a few examples that I could give you in regards to how Stranger Things Season Four really does something different than any other seasons before it- which is what we have been waiting for since last year until now!
