Season 5 of “Mayans M.C.” has been renewed by FX

The fifth season of the hit FX drama “Mayans M.C.” will be arriving this summer in a new 10-episode run, according to a press release from the network. The show stars JD Pardo as Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, and is set in Northern California after a split from its predecessor, “Sons of Anarchy”. In the new season, EZ joins forces with fellow patched members including club president Marcus Alvarez (Emilio Rivera) and Jax Teller (Charlie Hunnam), to defend their country and way of life against threats both inside and out – namely violence from rival cartels.

The fifth season of The Mayans M.C. is finally here, and it’s time we break down how this season will play out and why you should be excited for what’s to come!

Here are some key takeaways from the first episode:

– With both Villanueva and Romero back in EZ’s life, they team up to assassinate a high-ranking figure in the cartel.

It goes off without a hitch but leads to the Torrenzee family offering Romero $5 million for him to step away from their business interests and go into hiding with his wife and son.

– Torrenzee’s daughter, Beatriz, tries to take over the family business. She has a plan that doesn’t involve violence and seems to be the only one who has a head on her shoulders; however, it may not be enough to save the family empire if EZ doesn’t step up and take charge.

– Javi and EZ have issues with one another as they try to come together to eliminate the cartel threat.

The two admit that they’re seeing things completely differently than one another in how they view the world, but seeing that they’re on the same page about changes in leadership for their alliance is a good start.

Story of The Mayans M.C. Season 5

Season 5 of the hit FX series The Mayans M.C. is about to air and we wanted to catch you up with everything you need to know before the show debuts on September 3rd. The Galindo Cartel met its end when Johnny, who was now operating as a DEA agent, assassinated German and Felipe while they were being transferred from prison to trial testimony ̵1; a killing that would cost him his life as he was subsequently murdered by Tony Rocha and reconciled with his brother Ezekiel after a violent struggle between them ended in their father’s death.

While the cartel fell, their former cartel accountant, Otto Marquez, lived to see his crime spree expand as he continued to build his empire – the Cartel Royale. In Season 4, it was revealed that Marquez had also killed Ezekiel and Tony Rocha by poisoning their food. Otto also arranged for Ezekiel’s daughter Xiomara to be abducted by the cartel’s most ruthless assassin, who merged with her and eventually killed her.

Season 4 of Mayans M.C. was a season we never expected to grace screens but the announcement at Comic-Con, the New York Comic Con, and the San Diego Comic-Con were all a surprise for Hells Angels fans. So now it begs the question…will there be a Season 5?

It was an absolute delight to see this show return to our screens and it’s safe to say that many would be happy to see it return for another 10 episodes but as with all things on American network television, we don’t yet know whether or not there will be more episodes in store for us. Therefore, we’re taking a look back at the series and considering what we do know (based on the first four seasons) and what questions these facts raise.
