Thor: Love and Thunder : Disney releases Epic New 10 poster of the film.

You know your Marvel cinematic universe is in a strange place when you get to Thor: Love and Thunder. The latest entry in the MCU, Thor: Ragnarok, set up Asgardian life as some kind of cosmic joke. Life there was no longer sustainable, so Thor and Loki went on a journey that took them through a variety of worlds and altered realities, before they got to the one where they reunited with their mother Frigga (Rene Russo). In that reality, it turns out Frigga was Odin’s first love and the queen of Asgard. When the king discovered he had a second son, he used dark magic to erase Frigga from his life.

What is the plot of the story ?

Frigga says that Thor and Loki have to have an heir together, as she believes only a woman can rule Asgardian throne. Years go by, but Frigga dies before the two brothers make that happen. As they mourn her death, they make their way to the old tree where their father used to spar with Frigga. With Frigga gone, Odin’s spirit visits them and says he is going away so he can finally be at peace before seemingly disappearing for good.

Who is in the cast? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Natalie Portman , Christian Bale , Chris Hemsworth , Tessa Thompson , Karl Urban , Taika Waititi, Anthony Hopkins and Cate Blanchett . Natalie Portman will reprise her role as Jane Foster. This time around, she’s also playing the Mighty Thor and will be the God of Thunder just like her man. It follows Thor and Loki as they try to adjust to life without Frigga, including how to find a new queen and with how to rule Asgard. They try to figure out what happened on the old tree where their father used to spar with Frigga and learn why Odin’s spirit told them he was leaving the world of the living. The film will also follow the return of “Thor villains” such as Hela and Surtur, the latter of which has been confirmed to be the end of Thor’s own story according to the director. Jane Foster, who was previously played by Natalie Portman, is back and ready to be Thor. As you can see from the photo above, this new version of Jane has some crazy new hair. This time around, she’ll be wielding the Mjolnir as her cape and taking on the mantle of Thor as well.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The main antagonist of the film is the classic Thor villain, Malekith the Accursed. He will be played by Captain Marvel star, Lee Pace. The film also introduces a new character, named Brunnhilde, a warrior Valkyrie played by Creed II star Tessa Thompson. Her arrival gives Thor and Jane something to do while they’re dealing with all their children and familial issues at home. Brunnhilde scene on the Lunar Bazaar : It’s been confirmed that Thor: Love and Thunder will have a whole new costume for its female Thor, which is what we’re guessing this is from.
