It’s an adaptation of The Midnight Club, Christopher Pike’s 1981 young adult novel that tells the story of a group of students who meet after getting stuck at the airport during last-minute Thanksgiving break. They have no way home and decide to take a bus ride out of town, where they fall asleep and wake up in a small town. There they realize they are trapped with only one solution: kill or be killed until only one survives to make it back home again. The book was made into the 1986 movie by director Bill Condon, who is also a producer on the Netflix adaptation.

The cast include Iman Benson , Heather Langenkamp , Dylan Minnette , Dori Eurell , Cody Christian , Sean Young , James Baesel and Wilmer Valderrama . Benson portrays Cee Cee, one of the students from Atlanta. He’s been playing a psychopathic killer and likes to torture his victims. Langenkamp is Amanda, a religious virgin who prays to God when she needs to survive. She’s also pregnant with her high school sweetheart’s baby. Minnette is the group’s leader and wants everyone to get along even when they don’t want to be friends with each other. He is always on edge because he doesn’t want anyone else dying on him.

What are the challenges they face ?

There are some obstacles that the characters need to overcome on the road trip. The students all have to learn how to get along with each other and become friends,
even when they don’t want to be. One of the biggest challenges is surviving in a small town where the people are kind but deadly, and they have no way of leaving. There’s also something scary lurking in the trees and if they find out what it is then their trip will be over right away.

The biggest and most important scene is when the group finds out that their trip was a setup by a group of psychos  . Who want to kill them. They also discover a secret room where the motive behind their murder is so that they can wake up back at the airport . Where they arrived from Atlanta. Elsewhere, Amanda freaks out after seeing something inside a tree trunks  . And cuts her hands. She discovers that her engagement ring is gone and whatever it what had taken it out of her finger.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is an unknown creature lurking in the woods that
every few days goes out to hunt for food. The Midnight Club are just some of its many victims, but it’s not just about killing them, it’s also about keeping them alive so they can continue being its prey. It leaves secret clues behind so that the characters can find out  .  Who they are and why the creature hunts them one by one. Their mission is to uncover enough clues and survive so they can get home . Although this another challenge since the Midnight Club was put together . To make sure that no one makes it home alive.
