What is the plot of the story ?

Before Billy can join the Justice Society as Captain Marvel, he must learn to master his abilities and discover the secrets in his past. While investigating strange phenomena, Billy meets a girl named Mary, who claims to be his long-lost sister. Things get more complicated when a rash of strange disappearances within Fawcett City sparks questions about dark forces at work. The Justice Society—including the Atom, Hawkman, Dr. Fate and Mary Marvel—must help Billy uncover these mysteries before a terrible evil destroys the World!

Zachary Levi portrayed the role of Billy Batson, the original Shazam! having changed his name from the previous Shazam, Freddy Freeman. Grace Fulton portrayed Mary Marvel. Hamish Green portrayed Freddy Freeman. Sephen Gordon portrayed Eugene Judd, a child psychologist and uncle of Billy Batson’s friend Mary Batson. Edwina Trees played a famous actress who was always in the news for her acting roles.

What are the difficulties they face ?

When Billy must go through a tiring and complicated change from his alter-ego, Frederick Freeman, to Shazam! and his power increases, he suffers from issues including no longer being able to turn into Shazam in time for important events like the unveiling of the Washington Monument. Billy is taken by his sister Mary to an abandoned carnival where she feels he will be safe. In this place resides evil forces that are seeking him with aid from the Wizard who seeks Shazam’s power for himself and his own goals.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist was named as the Wizard. Billy’s sister, Mary shares a connection in the power of Shazam that she received from the wizard. However this connection also means that when Billy becomes Shazam, Mary loses her power as she is no longer his twin. She decides to go to a carnival where she feels Billy will be safe. But there she meets some illusionists who are after Billy and their leader is the Wizard. He had been posing as a fortune teller and when he learns about Billy he wants to kill him so that he can have the power for himself.

What are the epic scenes ?

The epic scene was in a TV show which lead to the movie. You had a scientist who was trying to take over the world by using his own artificial lightning bolt but he accidentally hit himself and became the Wizard and he took Billy’s powers away. At the end, Billy gets back his powers but not as Shazam, instead as Captain Marvel. One of the most liked characters, who were loved by all the fans was Billy Batson and his alter-ego, Freddy Freeman. He came to be known as both after Freddy Freeman told him to use the word Shazam.

Would you recommend watching this ?

Yes. It was a good movie. I recommend it to people who like good plot twist and turn in the story, some people don’t like that so if you do then this would be a good movie for you. Very well written, great story and very well portrayed. Thanks for reading !
