For All Mankind Season 3 : All set to return to Apple Tv+ , with great science fiction and Drama.

For all Mankind Season 3 begins with a cliffhanger. At the height of the space race, just as they reach orbit and build the first colony on Mars and colonize higher orbits around Earth, a shocking turn of events causes them to lose everything. The story picks up years later in a world where humanity is scattered in giant settlements throughout our solar system, forced to live meager lives on their settlement’s barren moon or asteroid. Season 3 will be a story about the lost generation, where I explore what happens when humanity is faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. The Colonists are forced to learn to live in a world without any technological advantage over the universe, without being able to take for granted any aspect of life on Earth.

What is the plot of the story ?

After losing everything at the end of season 2, the Colonists must struggle to rebuild a new civilization for all mankind. As they are scattered throughout our solar system, the story will follow the lives of the people living in several different communities. Through their stories, I hope to tell a universal story about what it means to remain human in a universe that will never be as it was and how we deal with that type of adversity. The Colony is broken and scattered, so I’m excited to explore the lives of characters who have no idea what happened to Earth or if they would ever find a way back.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Shantel VanSanten , Sarah Jones , and Noel Weldon. Each character had a story of their own to tell, so I wrote their individual stories. Shantel’s story explores the possibility of a world without feelings, and Sarah Jones explores the lives of two characters living in one community who question their place in the world and are forced to start over. Noel Weldon is a former colonist who lost everything and is now forced to rebuild in a far-off community.

What are the difficulties they face ?

All characters are faced with seemingly insurmountable odds. Without the benefit of being able to take for granted technology that they had on Earth, all characters must face the challenges of life in a universe where their Earth-born lives no longer exist.  The colony is broken and scattered, so each character must learn all over again how to live. Life on a colony would be forced to adjust as the characters of Earth would have adjusted in their lives, but now with no technology left. Without knowing if civilization will ever return, these characters are forced to hope that someday they might be able to return home but must continue living their lives on the colony without ever knowing if they will make it home or not.

What are the themes ?

The themes are survival, hope and humanity. Throughout the show, I explore survival in a universe that is no longer Earth. For example, with no technology to help them, the characters must learn to mine asteroids to survive. They must find ways to create what they need on their own and live off the land. The story will also explore the hope that someday civilization will return and how people remain human in a universe many years in the future where humanity has lost everything it built on Earth.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is the villain of the show, Mr. Mehdi Khorassani. He is a man that has decided to force his ideals onto others and slowly start squeezing down their freedom. He is based on a real person that shares some of his ideology in the real world and seeks to cause chaos throughout the colony in order to create a utopia of his own design. In the first episode we see the colony on Hamilton, an asteroid in Jupiter’s orbit. The colonists are unprepared for life there and with no technology left, they must learn how to live without modern conveniences. Life on Earth no longer exists and they will never return, so they have only one choice – to survive. We see their struggle from having lost everything, to becoming the first colonists of a new world that is devoid of Earthly technology.

Would you recommend watching this ?

Yes. It is a really interesting story about a broken world and about how life continues on after the reset button has been pressed. I love how everyone’s life is so similar to my own, even though it’s far-fetched. Thanks for reading !
