The antagonist of the film is Skurge, The Executioner, played by Jaimie Alexander. “I think she is a formidable villain and I’m very excited to be taking on that role,” said Alexander. After his death in battle with Thor’s father Odin, he was revived using an Einherjar potion created by Sif and Lorelei. He then assisted Thor in the war against the Frost Giants during their invasion of Asgard.
