Outlander Season 7 : New members are added in the series for their new season .

outlander season 7

Having been raised in the 1940s, Claire Randall is a married mother of three when she walks through one day and discovers her husband waiting for her. He has come home from the war, but he’s suffering from amnesia. With his growing confusion and increasing rages, she’s forced to tell him about their life seventeen years ago – a much different time and place than what they know now. But when Frank Randall disappears back into 1945 without explanation, Claire must find him again or face losing everything.

What is the plot of the story ?

The story is set in the year 1945 and Claire Randall has returned to somewhere in Scotland on vacation. One day after her husband Frank comes home from the war, she finds him waiting for her, as he is suffering from amnesia. It’s about Claire’s life in the 1940s and how she gets involved with a man that could change her life forever. I’m not very good at plot summary because I don’t want to give too much away so you should just read it yourself.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Caitriona Balfe , Sam Heughan , Tobias Menzies , Graham McTavish , Duncan Lacroix , and Stephen Walters. Sam Heughan plays Jamie Fraser, Claire’s husband, Caitriona Balfe plays Claire Randall, Sam Heughan’s wife, Tobias Menzies plays Frank Randall; Claire’s husband who suffers from amnesia after World War II. Graham McTavish plays Dougal MacKenzie, Duncan Lacroix plays Murtagh Fitzgibbons Fraser and Stephen Walters plays Ned Gowan. All of these actors did an amazing job portraying their characters. My personal favorite is Tobias Menzies as Frank Randall because I thought he portrayed his character so amazingly.

What are the difficulties they face ?

This is a collection of two seasons, so it might be a little confusing for people. It’s understandable if you’re watching on Netflix now, but it has also been available to stream on Amazon for quite some time. The first season has 10 episodes and the second season has 8 episodes. In the first season Claire Randall’s husband is sent back to World War II with amnesia and in the second season Claire returns from said war with amnesia.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is a French soldier named Jean-Paul Marchelli. He is very serious and evil but he also has a code of honor and he won’t hurt Claire because she’s been a wonderful wife to him. He’s completely loyal to his friend Murtagh, an Irishman working for the S.S., and he does everything for Murtagh because he cares about his friend; which makes their relationship close. He’s not mean-spirited or evil like a few characters I might mention later on in this story.

What are the epic scenes ?

There are a few scenes in this series that are epic. First of all, the episode where they’re at Ardsmuir Prison and Jamie is trying to escape and succeeds is epic. Secondly, the scene when Claire returns to Frank’s house with her daughter and Frank isn’t there is also epic. I found it very touching that Claire sits on his chair. I felt like tearing up in that scene because it was so emotional (I didn’t though).

Who is the most loved character ?

This is a little bit difficult because there are so many colorful characters in this story. There’s Jamie and Claire to begin with, then Dougal MacKenzie, Murtagh, Ned Gowan and more. I think one of the most loved character is Claire. She’s a very strong person and she has so much in her heart that she gives you good chills when she speaks.

Would you recommend watching this ?

I’m not exactly sure if I would recommend this to you, but I would say go on and watch it if you want to be entertained. It’s the kind of show that you can watch without paying too much attention and still enjoy it. Thanks for reading !
