The three girls are transported back to the early Salem period. Sarah Sanderson (Midler) is shown enjoying her victory over her sisters. She has already killed them and is ready to kill Max (Dennison) but she fails due to his aunt who is still alive. The message of this film is that fear can make you blind and slows your judgment.
