‘Top Gun: Maverick’ Is The Most Successful Action Film Since ‘The Dark Knight.’

Top Gun Maverick

“Forget blood, guts, and guts.” So says top gun Tom Cruise’s character in the film ‘Top Gun: Maverick’. Even though director Tony Scott wanted to show audiences a slightly different side of Tom Cruise than in his other films, it seems that audiences are still gravitating toward the action.

This film has not only shown the audience the badass nature of fighter pilots but also resulted in big box office totals for a summer movie.

‘Top Gun: Maverick’ has collected 28.2 million dollars and it looks like this film is steadily rising on the charts as it passes the Big Daddy of action movies, ‘The Dark Knight’.

This film is definitely on track to being a summer blockbuster. The action and Tom Cruise’s charm will bring viewers in but, for some fans or some viewers of the franchise, this movie was not what they were expecting.

Introduction to Top Gun: Maverick

Nobody does Grandeur like the United States Navy. Sure, the Air Force has their own Top Gun Academy and everything, but nobody can beat that sweet, sweet taste of American Freedom. That’s why you should watch Top Gun: Maverick to see all the hot-blooded action and glamour that goes into training some of the most prestigious pilots in our armed forces. What’s more, it’s all getting rebooted with the help of Tom Cruise and some of the biggest names in Hollywood. If the movie was made today, it would probably be called Top Gun: Alpha Strike and have a plot that would make even a male Space Marine pass out laughing.
