What is the plot of the story ?

The plot of the story revolves around a young boy named Will Byers (Noah Schnapp) who mysteriously disappeared into thin air. When he vanished his mother called the police, but they couldn’t find any evidence of other people or dangerous animals in the area. However, when Joyce learns that another boy has vanished too and that both children used to play in a very mysterious place called “The Upside Down” she becomes suspicious.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Millie Bobby Brown , Finn Wolfhard , Caleb McLaughlin, Gaten Matarazzo, Natalia Dyer and Winona Ryder . Millie Bobby Brown plays the role of Eleven , a young girl with extraordinary powers. She escaped from a super secret experimental lab where she was being tested on and began living in Mike’s (Finn Wolfhard) basement. She has telekenesis and can make objects move around using her mind. Gaten Matarazzo plays the role of Dustin Henderson, who is obsessed with science-fiction films and video games. Together with his friends he gets into trouble and that’s when the boys’ secret comes out…

What are the difficulties they face ?

When Will disappears, his mother Joyce (Winona Ryder) is stricken with grief. She suspects that the police officers are lying to her and that her son was kidnapped by an animal or human. She asks the local sheriff (David Harbour) to find him but he can’t help her. When it gets even more difficult, she decides to take matters into her own hands and approach the “Upside Down” by herself. Despite knowing that she is put in tremendous danger, she puts herself out there and goes to find him. The themes include a mother’s love and curiosity. The motif of love is effective in the context of strong female characters like Joyce (Winona Ryder) and Nancy (Natalia Dyer). In both cases, we see these characters having to fight for their children.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The main antagonist of the series is the “Upside Down”. It is a dark world full of unknown creatures. Its motives are as yet unknown. But what we do know is that it has kidnapped people in the past and since Will has disappeared, this brings into question whether or not there are other children who are being held prisoner .

What are the difficulties they face ?

There are a number of supernatural forces in the “Upside Down” which our heroes need to overcome. There is an evil spirit named the Demogorgon, who comes out at night, as well as a monster worm-like creature that tries to kill one of the characters. They also need to overcome the many obstacles that they encounter and start looking for Will. The monster worm attacks their friend while they are looking for Will and kills him and leaves his body lying around in sight.

Who is the most loved character ?

Our most loved character is Will Byers (Noah Schnapp). He was the main protagonist of the first season and we saw him grow up through the series.  It was a typical teenager with a family, friends and school. He didn’t have unusual powers or experiences during his childhood and being short-tempered was his favorite characteristic. In the second season he spends more time with his friends in Stranger Things 2. They express their affection for him by singing his theme song to him which will be played whenever he appears on screen.

I would recommend this to everyone. It is a series that has everything: suspense, drama, romance, friendship and horror. The series is highly addictive and will get you hooked because of its intriguing plot and interesting characters. Thanks for reading !
