Pain Hustlers : Chris Evans is all set to join the cast of this Netflix drama.

Liza has always dreamed of a better life for herself and her daughter. After working in a bankrupt pharmacy, Liza’s guts catapult the company into profitability and success. With her newfound job security, she can provide for what she needs the most – her family. The criminal enterprise begins with the distribution of counterfeit prescription medicines to local pharmacies.

The plot of the story is a mother’s struggle to maintain a job to provide for her family. This takes place over the course of a few years in Oklahoma City. The conflict of this story is Liza (the main character) finding herself in the middle of a criminal conspiracy. She wants to do what’s best for her daughter and she soon finds that it can come at a price.

The cast include Chris Evans , Emily Blunt , Cicely Tyson , Michael Ealy , and Luke Wilson . Chris Evans portrayed the role of Liza’s husband, Marty. Emily Blunt portrayed the role of Liza, the daughter of Marty and his wife. Cicely Tyson portrayed Liza’s mother, Sharon. Michael Ealy played the role of Liza’s boss, Josh Taylor. Luke Wilson played the role of Dr. Beverley Kermode, a corrupt pharmacist and one of five pharmacists involved in drug distribution conspiracies in Oklahoma City hospitals.

The two major difficulties the main characters have to face are Liza’s responsibilities as a mother and Liza’s responsibility to get the job done. She has to do whatever it takes to make sure her family is taken care of by selling counterfeit pharmaceuticals. She also has to keep her identity a secret so she doesn’t get in trouble with the FBI. The major theme of the story is how Liza grows from a single mother who has to work three jobs and sell fake pharmaceuticals to make ends meet, to a woman who’s part of a criminal drug distribution network.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is Liza’s boss, Josh Taylor. It is revealed that he’s really a member of a drug distribution network. He starts to insinuate himself into the business by giving Liza “gifts” and showing special favors. This makes Liza begin to trust him. However, he soon divulges his motives and threatens Liza’s family.

What are the epic scenes ?

The epic scenes include the funeral of Liza’s mother, Sharon. She was buried with all the money she had and Liza had to pay for it. Liza also experiences domestic abuse and raped by Josh Taylor in various ways. She has flashbacks to being raped by Marty in the hospital she worked at and how he wouldn’t let her go after he found out she was pregnant.

Who is the most love character ?

The most love character is Liza’s daughter, Emily. She has to deal with her mom working late hours and coming home very late in the mornings when Emily was sick. In the end, Liza tells Emily that she is going to sell more fake pharmaceuticals because that’s the only way they could get money for Emily’s school. When she eventually finds out what her mom did, she tells her that she understands but doesn’t want to talk about it because it makes her sad. The most hate character is Marty, Liza’s husband. He first tries to stop his wife when she is trying to get the money together. When he finds out she has been selling counterfeit pharmaceuticals, he tries to help her by giving her money but it ultimately gets him arrested.

I would definitely recommend watching this film because it gives you a look in to the lives of those who became involved in the illegal drug trade. It shows how things can go from bad to worse in a very short period of time and how if you’re not careful, you could end up like one of these characters.
