It also shows a few of the Crawley’s secrets that they have been keeping. The most loved character is the Dowager Countess of Grantham, who dies near the end of the story. She is a quiet but very wise and clever lady who knows a thing or two about life. She was born in 1864 and was almost “the old school” as she said.
