Skill House : 50 Cent and Hannah Stocking is all set to join the epic film .

Skill House is a self-proclaimed “immersive horror experience” that was recently featured on the streaming service Hulu. The show portrays a reality TV show (named “Skill House”) that’s looking for a new star. Skill House follows people who have approached the show and their first-hand, behind-the-scenes take on what it’s like to be up for the title of America’s Next Top Model. What starts out as mere entertainment .  Quickly turns into a social media nightmare that is darkly satirical in nature.

What is the plot of the story ?

The story follows two aspiring models, Eden and Kate. After meeting and being selected to become contestants on the show “Skill House,” both girls are manipulated into situations and events that they never could have imagined.

Who is in the cast ? What role did each character portray ?

The cast include Neal McDonough , Caitlin Carmichael , JT Mahoney , and more. Neal McDonough portrayed the role of the show’s host, a smooth-talking, narcissistic actor that preys on new talent. He is the main villain of the series. Caitlin Carmichael portrayed the show’s marketing and public relations manager. JT Mahoney portrayed the role of one of Eden’s actual fellow contestants–a “Real Housewives” style show star who is fierce in competition, but comes across as misguided and desperate to be famous.

What are the difficulties they faced ?

Among the difficulties they faced, there was a lot of behind-the-scenes drama with the production team. They had to change locations and were battling with a different crew for every episode. The two lead characters were very tired of being filmed and having to deal with cameras in their faces all the time. The themes of the show encompass many, including the idea that fame is coveted  . And attained by doing absolutely anything to get it . Hidden manipulative agendas, trickery and  also exploitation, social media dysfunction and the lives of influencers (many coming from different walks of life).

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is the show’s host, portrayed by Neal McDonough. In his role as a TV host, he seems affable and charming but has a hidden agenda to exploit those who seek to be famous .  And uses psychological tactics for his own secret means.

What are the epic scenes ?

The scene that stands out above the rest is when Eden and Kate are taken to a hotel room together . Where they are forced to compete with each other until they become the last two standing. In this moment, the girls become rivals, and the scenes are shot in a similar fashion as vicious reality TV shows in which contestants do anything to win. The show takes things so far by having them fight each other with no immediate results. The girls have bruises, scratches, and bleeding injuries throughout their bodies. A lot of people loved Kate, the protagonist . Because she was very relatable and portrayed a down-to-earth personality. She spends most of the show trying to be better than Eden and do whatever she has to in order to advance herself.

What is the climax like ?

The final scene in which the girls are pitted against each other is a painful and raw display of the realities of fame. The girls are forced to fight each other with no mercy. Some of the shots were so brutal that the show had to show them in slow-motion . Which made things even more intense. It was also a moment that showed viewers what lengths people will go to in order to achieve fame and stardom in today’s world.

Would you recommend watching this ?

If you are looking for a get it over with quick kind of tv show to watch, this probably isn’t the show for you. It takes about 4 to 6 hours in total for the episodes to be completed. There are many things going on in each episode  . And the plot does build up so it’s not just one thing happening over and over again. Thanks for reading !
