The storyline of the Not Another Church Movie

As the new pastor at New Hope, Miles is about to learn that leading a congregation of 22 people may not be as easy as it looks. Right away, he encounters a funding crisis and building code violations. But Miles’s greatest challenge will involve winning over the locals in this remote mountain town with his family-friendly message . . . a message that is up against TV evangelists with bigger budgets, flashier graphics, and fancier church buildings.

Miles’s wife Tracy, who is pregnant, has her career as a TV news anchor in Austin. Miles’s brother Abe is a struggling actor with big dreams. And Miles’s genius young son Jonah, who has Asperger syndrome and whose only friend is Donnie (Bobby Coleman), a quirky boy who lives next door, already has plenty to handle without having to endure the persecution of New Hope’s most outspoken detractor – Maggie Spencer (Sarah Drew), the town librarian.

Miles will be challenged by his new congregation, but he’ll also be supported by some unexpected allies in a small town where everyone believes they have something to teach him.
