Story of The Locke & Key Season 3
This is the story of two children and their discovery that monsters are real. It’s about how they become heroes, even when there is no one else to save them. Read on for a preview of the story that will keep you turning pages long after bedtime!
Season three starts where season two left off, with Tyler Locke being culled from the God Key by Dodge during his ritualistic sacrifice. This act forces him to return his soul into his body and he wakes up to find he is in a hospital – only Tyler knows it isn’t just any hospital but rather a mental institution.
Frederick Gideon: Who Is He? The Demon From Locke and Key Season 3 Returning?
According to the Locke and Key comic book series, Frederick Gideon is an ancient demon who has supposedly been trapped in a dark dimension/prison/etc. in the form of a bird since time immemorial.
With no hope of escape and no end in sight, he makes friends with a human called Steven Lockhart who was given immortality by the same entity that imprisoned him.
The two agree to try and find some way to escape from their eternal prison and sacrifice themselves for each other so they can be reborn into different lives where they will have more power than what had originally been promised to them.
Gideon is one of the more well-known and frequently used “demon” characters, making an appearance in every main story arc of Locke and Key. However, in the comics, he hasn’t always been portrayed as being a “demon.”
When there were originally only three Locke and Key comic arcs planned, Gideon was seen as just another friend of Lockhart who was trapped in the dimension. When Story Arc Three was added later on, however, Gideon was changed into the enemy.
