The Walking Dead returns on October 6th for the 11th season. Last year was one of the show’s best yet, even as ratings took a dip. Also, including how it will be different from previous seasons and where Rick Grimes may go next.
These are just a few things you can find in this blog post out of many other topics that are discussed in depth throughout it!
Last year was one of the show’s best yet, even as ratings took a dip.
Producers Gale Anne Hurd and Emma Tillinger Koskoff said they never felt they were in trouble last year. So, which meant they could take chances with the story and characters that would have been difficult to do in a 10th-season environment. “We were just given a bit more freedom. We’re very lucky that we didn’t have to do a safe Season 10,” said Hurd.
Lincoln echoed her sentiment about having the freedom to create something different from previous seasons. But said he and his castmates did have an idea of what fans wanted from the show — even if it was different from what they wanted for themselves.

Story of The Walking Dead Season 11
In the 11th season of The Walking Dead, Rick Grimes, played by Andrew Lincoln, is having trouble navigating the new world. With opposing communities of survivors, one led by a former law enforcement officer. And another led by a cult leader with promises of greater security and better lives for those who serve him faithfully. Season 11 tells the story of humanity under pressure. How will they survive?
The Walking Dead has always been about the survivors struggling to stay alive in a post-apocalyptic world where zombies roam freely and few resources or sanctuary can be found. Season 11 takes that struggle to new heights as Rick must find his footing amid competing communities with radically different approaches to survival.
In The Walking Dead season 11 part 3, will Rick Grimes be making a comeback?
According to an undisclosed source from the Walking Dead crew, Rick Grimes will return to The Walking Dead.
According to the informant, Rick Grimes’s return is a plan devised by showrunner Angela Kang and AMC executives. This does not come as much of a surprise given that Kang was promoted for her work on the season 10 mid-season finale and given her experience with writing closure for other characters such as Glenn in Season 8 and Carl in Season 9.
In addition, we have no confirmation that Michonne’s departure at the end of season 10 part 2 is going to keep her away from Alexandria indefinitely, nor could it be inferred that she won’t make a reappearance during season 11 part 4…
