Stranger Things was a web series that aired during the 2016-2017 television season, starring Winona Ryder as Joyce Byers. The show tells the story of her son, Will Byers who mysteriously goes missing and returns with strange powers that set him apart from his friends and family.

As the show begins, Will Byers goes missing. His mother, Joyce Byers believes it is because of supernatural entities and promises to her son’s friends to find him. She hires three teenagers to accompany her on her search for Will. The three friends are Ryan, Dustin, and their friend Max who have their own troubled pasts. The teenagers, who dub themselves “The Budlers,” search through the woods in their attempts to find Will, eventually finding a mysterious cabin.

Millie Bobby Brown portrayed the role of Eleven and plays a significant role throughout the show. Finn Wolfhard portrays the role of Mike. Gaten Matarazzo portrays the role of Dustin Henderson. Noah Schnapp portrayed as Will Byers. Cara Buono played as Karen Wheeler and Winona Ryder plays Joyce Byers (Will’s mother).

What are the difficulties they face ?

For 88 hours, the group of friends spend time on a search for Will. In order to find him, they travel to the woods and find a mysterious cabin. This cabin contains an alarm system that activates when someone comes near. Eventually, Will appears in the office of Dr. Brenner (David Harbour) who is one of 2 military men looking after Hawkins National Laboratory. Dr. Brenner tries to keep them from seeing Will but since he is found by the three friends, he has no choice but to let them enter his office and take him out to their car . One of the themes that Stranger Things revolves is friendship. The main characters forge a strong bond throughout the show. This movie also portrays family themes and their role in the lives of people.

Who is the antagonist ? What are its motives ?

The antagonist is Dr. Brenner. He is the man who works at the Hawkins National Laboratory and has one of the key roles in keeping secrets of Hawkins Laboratory away from people. His bad intentions result in having a disaster when he is framed for Will’s disappearance by his colleague Dr. Sam Owens (Paul Reiser). He is also responsible for keeping Will’s mother, Joyce Byers out of knowing about the whereabouts of her son.

What are the epic scenes ?

In the climax, Will is found in a top secret lab that is run by Dr. Owens, one of the 2 military men working with Hawkins laboratory. Joyce tries to confront him about her son but he asks her not to talk and to come back with Mike and his friends. They don’t listen to him and break into the lab where they find Will, sick and recovering in a bed. Dr. Brenner shows up looking for them and drags Joyce into another room where he tries to kill her by suffocating her with a plastic bag but not before she gets a few shots at his face which ultimately release him from this world.

Who is the most loved character ?

The most loved character is Will Byers, portrayed by Noah Schnapp. He is the boy who goes missing and is later found at Hawkins Laboratory. He gets strange powers in his body that help him defeat the creature and return to his family safely.

I would recommend watching this if you are a big fan of horror movies, especially the older ones.This is an extraordinary movie, I think. The story is just so nice and captivating . Thanks for reading !
