Netflix’s Drama Mystrey Series ‘1899’ Season 2 Get Cancelled

The producers have canceled this show and it will not have a second season. This show had many twists and turns throughout its run and ended just as a cliffhanger. The creators also mention that they would love to finish this journey with a third season but it won’t happen.  This was posted by an author by the name of Jantje Friese who presents this information through Instagram because the show is no longer airing on Netflix or any other streaming service. We feel sorry for all of you who liked this show, but that’s the way it is. This was our last funny and scary ride through the foggy murder-filled waters of Lübeck Germany. It’s been an amazing experience and a pleasure creating this series. A huge thanks to everyone who watched our show, took part in the discussion and followed us on our journey through Dark. This journey had an end but there will be more. This show had a unique feel and look to it. It was interesting to watch and the characters were played completely differently. It had an extremely unique approach to its narrative which was very cool to see.

Why did the series got canceled?

The creators have many reasons to explain why the show got canceled. The main reason, it was not receiving enough viewership. The second reason was the show was competing with House of Cards and Stranger Things which were popular at that time, which made it hard for the series to attract a decent number of viewers. Now Netflix will not be able to make a comeback for this show and the viewers who loved it may find another series like this on some other channels but for now, we will have to say goodbye to those dark and creepy locations.

What is the series about? 

The series was about a group of European migrants who leave for America aboard a steamship. They are looking for a better future for themselves and their families. They are hoping that America is the land of opportunity and it’s the place of dreams and hopes. They will escape their old lives by opening their new ones and new lives for themselves. The ship is heading west to leave its troubled past behind and start a new life full of hope and promise. but the voyage takes a sudden and unexpected turn when the ship spots an abandoned ship floating on the open sea. Soon things begin to go wrong, threatening to end all hope of a new beginning.

What makes this series interesting? 

The series was unique and interesting because it did not follow the usual pattern. It was not a typical genre like other mystery/thriller series and that too made it very popular among the audiences. The story of this series was also very different from what we are used to seeing on television and that is why viewers like to watch it. The casting director did a great job selecting the cast for this show. All the actors did an amazing job playing their characters and earning the hearts of their viewers which is a true sign of good acting skills. The acting was one of the main reasons behind this show’s success. This show is definitely worth watching even though it has been canceled. 

Who can watch this series? 

The series was worth watching by everyone with an open mind and a good sense of humor because it had some dark and creepy moments in it. That is why this series may not be suitable for all the viewers out there but if you are up for a different and unique experience then this show might be for you. This show had unconventional characters, interesting plot twists, and a very intriguing storyline which made it the perfect thriller series of all time.
