Find out where and when to watch the horror movie “The Black Phone” on over-the-top (OTT)

Ongoing discussions surrounding the ‘Netflix-ification of television’ and a general distrust of streaming services have led to the development of over-the-top (OTT) subscription platforms such as Amazon’s Prime Instant Video, Hulu Plus, Apple iTunes, and Netflix. This article will briefly discuss what OTT platforms are and how they differ from traditional cable TV providers.
These websites provide an extensive library at almost no extra cost, yet demand is high for many consumers due to their convenience. On average these websites provide a wider selection than traditional cable providers might otherwise offer.

A Blu-ray release of “The Black Phone” with deleted scenes is scheduled for August
This year, Stephen King’s 1987 book The Dark Half is getting its first-ever Blu-ray release. The release is titled “The Black Phone”, and in addition to the story of Thad Beaumont, it includes deleted scenes from the film that presented King’s vision of a new ending to the tale.
Not only does this edition include the original text for your reading pleasure (along with color illustrations), but there are also some deleted scenes and an alternate ending just waiting for you to complete your analysis of this dark tale of family and identity.
“The Dark Half” has always been a thorny novel. There were two notably different film adaptations of it, and fans of both have had their own opinions on which version is the true version.
This release will probably cause even more arguments, but what’s most interesting in this release is the material from the deleted scenes (which were originally part of a 1999 made-for-TV movie), and the alternate ending that King wrote for Warner Brothers but was never filmed because they felt it needed too much work.
