Find out where and when to watch the horror movie “The Black Phone” on over-the-top (OTT)

Joker: The Black Phone

Ongoing discussions surrounding the ‘Netflix-ification of television’ and a general distrust of streaming services have led to the development of over-the-top (OTT) subscription platforms such as Amazon’s Prime Instant Video, Hulu Plus, Apple iTunes, and Netflix. This article will briefly discuss what OTT platforms are and how they differ from traditional cable TV providers.

These websites provide an extensive library at almost no extra cost, yet demand is high for many consumers due to their convenience. On average these websites provide a wider selection than traditional cable providers might otherwise offer.

Introduction to The Black Phone

The Black Phone movie is about a young man who gets a new phone and unlocks ‘the black phone in the process.

It’s not just any old phone though, this one has the power to deliver death to anyone you wish. The story follows our protagonist as he sets out on an adventure into how he got his black phone and what will happen if he keeps it.”

The Black Phone’s release date and locations

If you’re in the mood for a new thriller series, make sure to check out “The Black Phone” this Friday night on Lifetime! This new drama centers around Joanna Hanley (played by Rachael Taylor), who is a successful career woman and an overprotective and obsessive mother.

She lives a seemingly picture-perfect life with her photographer husband, John (played by Idris Elba), and their three children until she becomes an unwilling player in the dangerous game of international espionage.

A Blu-ray release of “The Black Phone” with deleted scenes is scheduled for August

This year, Stephen King’s 1987 book The Dark Half is getting its first-ever Blu-ray release. The release is titled “The Black Phone”, and in addition to the story of Thad Beaumont, it includes deleted scenes from the film that presented King’s vision of a new ending to the tale.

Not only does this edition include the original text for your reading pleasure (along with color illustrations), but there are also some deleted scenes and an alternate ending just waiting for you to complete your analysis of this dark tale of family and identity.

“The Dark Half” has always been a thorny novel. There were two notably different film adaptations of it, and fans of both have had their own opinions on which version is the true version.

This release will probably cause even more arguments, but what’s most interesting in this release is the material from the deleted scenes (which were originally part of a 1999 made-for-TV movie), and the alternate ending that King wrote for Warner Brothers but was never filmed because they felt it needed too much work.
