Performers We’d Like to See in the Sequel to “Heat”

The four-letter word that sends movie fanatics into a frenzy is “sequel”. Who wouldn’t want the chance to see their favorite characters reunite in another blockbuster? With the success of Heat last summer, it’s only natural we’ve been clamoring for more. There are several awesome actors we would love to see in the sequel, so let’s dive right in and explore our list!
1) Michael B. Jordan as Chris: Michael B. Jordan’s name makes waves on its own these days and should be added to any shortlist of actors who might be cast in The Heat 2 under consideration by Hollywood masterminds. Jordan was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role in Fruitvale Station and has since starred in both the Fantastic Four reboot as Johnny Storm and the Oscar-winning drama Creed as Adonis Johnson.
2) Bruce Willis as Harry: Bruce Willis is iconic. He’s been a staple of action movies since his breakout role in Die Hard. And it would be exciting to see him play Harry again. And with his well-deserved status as a Hollywood legend, he would be well-suited for an action star of his franchise. So, perhaps being paired up with Arnold Schwarzenegger in another Expendables movie or getting back together with Samuel L.

Story of The Heat 2
In “The Heat 2”, the director, producer, and writer of the story is Paul Feig. The sequel to “The Heat” movie is directed by Rawson Marshall Thurber. The producers of the film are Polly Cohen, Steak Larsen, and David Womark. It stars Sandra Bullock and Melissa McCarthy as representatives of the law enforcement in Boston who become partners working together to take down a local drug lord/arms dealer named Bobby Shaw. They are set out to prevent a terrorist attack planned by Shaw on Washington D.C., for him to be able to control an unknown number of captive future victims with drone missiles that he plans on using at his command center just outside Washington D.C.
Action Films Today Have Michael Mann “Bored”
For many, Michael Mann is synonymous with some of the finest in modern filmmaking. His latest movie, Heat 2, displays a mastery of tension and suspense that only he seems capable of. And while there is plenty to talk about in this new flick, I would like to focus on one detail that has occurred to me several times since walking out of the theater: why modern action movies belong on the big screen. Every detail about Heat 2’s production screams “big” — from its profound musical score by Hans Zimmer (a constant collaborator with Mann), to its expansive setting in Los Angeles spanning from South Central LA to Downtown LA and Venice Beach.
So, what do you think about The Heat 2?
