Amanda Fix joins the cast this season in a recurring role that sees Dr. Laoghaire struggling to adjust to life after the collapse of Dyad, while Alec Sadler wrestles with his conscience as he questions whether or not he is human or clone.

Story of The Orphan Black: Echoes

The wait is over and the long-awaited trailer for Orphan Black: Echoes has been released. The movie explores new territory in terms of story time and features a split narrative, with the past unfolding before our eyes as we see Sarah’s (Tatiana Maslany) quest to find her daughter Kira. Separate from their original introduction, this trailer takes us on an emotional journey following many characters’ choices that lead them to uncover secrets surrounding them all. Through flashbacks and flashforwards, we join Sarah in her desperate search for the daughter she loves so much.

We also see Kira’s perspective as she travels to a new home with Mrs. S (Maria Doyle Kennedy), grateful to be away from the confines of her life with the foster family that kidnapped and brainwashed her. The trailer presents us with a grim and dark view of our characters’ lives but offers us a glimpse of a better future that may be awaiting them if they can overcome their darkest tribulations. The series has always been about secrets, but this movie leaves little uncovered in its exploration of what has led to this point.

AMC has cast Amanda Fix and Avan Jogia in the upcoming spinoff series Orphan Black: Echoes

Mysterious Amanda, who was introduced in the concluding scene of Season 4 of Orphan Black, will be joining the six-woman cast for a new series. And not just any series — it has been confirmed that she’ll be taking part in a spinoff. Now, Avan Jogia and Amanda Fucking Fix have been added to the famed list of actors who will bring life to these same characters with their storylines in a new on-air series later this year titled Orphan Black: Echoes. In addition to both acting as actors and producers on the show, they will also contribute to writing roles while sharing their experiences as artists with other artists involved in the production group called The Network.
