Renfield from Universal Pictures’ “Renfield” has made its way to theatres with an R rating for bloody violence, some gore, and language throughout. The upcoming film is an adventure tale that stars Nicolas Cage and Nicolas Hoult, who decide to live their lives for themselves. The film centers around a character named Renfield (Hoult) who has been tasked to do all the dirty work for the Count but decides that he’s fed up with it. The film is directed by Chris McKay and was written by Robert Kirkman and Ryan Ridley. What is the film about?
The film is about a guy who wants to live his own life. It is about living life for ourselves. Wanting to be in control and chasing new experiences that we’ve never had the chance to experience before. That brings us to a modern-day New Orleans where Renfield finds himself falling in love with Rebecca Quincy (Salma Hayek), a fellow traffic cop, who is more than willing to give him exactly what he wants. Never having been able to imagine his life outside of serving Count Dracula, Renfield struggles with his newfound freedom and the realization that he has done all he can do for the infamous vampire lord. Renfield finds himself in a situation where he tries to do what is right and has to decide if he’s willing to take the next step. This all happens while Renfield tries to figure out who he is and what his life will look like outside of serving the Count.
