Netflix Sets The Premier Date For The Upcoming Comedy Series ‘Freeride’

The Netflix comedy series Freeride premieres on February 2. It is a spin-off of the popular comedy series My Block and centers on the rivalry between siblings. As a preview, Lauren Iungerich, Eddie Gonzalez, and Jamie Dooner teamed up to create the 8-episode show which will premiere on Netflix on February 2. Iungerich says that Freeride is about “not just brothers arguing, but about the actual relationship between us and how we are as people. ” She added, “It’s cool because it’s telling the story of your relationship with your sibling. I think our connection to each other is so different as we have grown up but I think that’s something that people can relate to. For those of you who watched Freeride during a past episode of My Block or during its preview. The spin-off centers on a curse that has brought bad luck into their lives after one of them had set it free at age 13. In Freeride, it is two brothers, who have relapsed into being enemies as they vie for control over the curse.

What is the series about?
The three lead actors say they are excited to bring their characters to life. Eddie Gonzalez said, “I’m a big fan of Freeride. I’ve watched it and I think it has the same kind of humor as My Block, so it will be great for people who love My Block, and also for those who are happy watching great comedy! From the previews of the previous seasons, Eddie shows similarities in his character with the original series character. The comedy is about two brothers weirdly going at each other and not knowing how to deal with this situation. He got along very well with his brother at one point but doesn’t know how to deal with that now that he’s an adult. “He’s a talented character and I had a great time playing him.
What makes this series interesting?
Overall, this series is interesting because it feels realistic. It feels like a real sibling relationship that you would have in real life and how they deal with conflict with each other and just navigate through life as siblings. The whole story revolves around the siblings and their friends who are dealing with not only the curse but their problems as well. Because of all these problems, it has made the people in the series realize that keeping secrets from each other made them lose trust in each other, so realizing this and trying to rebuild their trust is another good aspect of this series.
Who can watch this series?
This series can be watched by pretty much anyone. It doesn’t have anything inappropriate, so any age can watch this or at least understand it. Parents will want to watch this with kids who are around 10 and up because this does contain some mild violence and language. What makes it appropriate for younger viewers is that it doesn’t go too mature with the jokes and the cursing, so parents don’t have to worry about their kids watching something inappropriate.
Why should you watch this series?
Overall, Freeride is a great show because it is funny and relatable. I love the realistic plot that it has set up. It’s not something new in the comedy world but I think this is an amazing spin-off of the original My Block series to keep people entertained for long periods. This show can be watched anytime and anywhere by just about anyone, so if you are bored at school or simply don’t have any TV shows to watch then this can help to fill those gaps with some good laughs and a good dose of entertainment.
