Release Date:

The first season of the series was released on  April 6, 2019, and soon the 3rd season is going to be released sometime in April 2023.

What is the series about?

The story revolves around Tanjiro Kamado who gets the powers from his demon slayer blade and tries to save his sister from her demon transformation.  The recent announcement of the third season of Kimetsu no Yaiba has made many fans excited and we have some spoilers for you to get even more excited. Fans of the anime series have already seen that several demons have appeared next to Nezuko Kamado, but it is only because she is near to turning into a full-fledged demon. And then some other demons haven’t been seen before in the anime series, which means that we might get an insight into these demons’ pasts. Season 3 will continue as the story of Tanjiro Kamado and his sister Nezuko Kamado. Tanjiro is an apprentice demon slayer who decided to take revenge on the family that has struck down his family. The last time we saw him, he was left with no choice since he had to kill the only person who knows a way to vanquish demons – his sister Nezuko. So to put an end to it, Tanjiro kills his beloved sister and this changes him forever.

What makes this series interesting?

The story of a human slayer and his sister is pretty straightforward and there has been a lot of anime in the past that have dealt with this storyline. But what makes this series interesting is the fact that writers can take the storyline to an entirely different level. Here, writers can focus on the recruitment of one person into an organization that hunts down demons or even one person’s ability to take revenge for his family. And once Tanjiro Kamado gets involved in an organization, it opens up a new layer since he can work with others instead of just going solo like he did all season long. If you haven’t watched seasons 1-2 yet, then you should go ahead and watch them before you dive into season 3.

Who can watch this series

This series is not for kids and it is a basic fact that you can’t deny. It will be too much for young kids to understand, so you have to tell them that it is only for adults. This is an anime series with a lot of violence and gore in it, so if someone has OCD about blood then this might not be the best anime series for them. You don’t have to watch this series with your child if he or she doesn’t like seeing blood in anime.
