What are fans expecting from season 5th?
Fans seem to be happy and excited about the news that Stranger Things season 5 will premiere in mid-May 2023. We have heard of several theories regarding the season 5 release date. Some anticipate that the season will begin during the summer of 2023. In a previous interview with EW, creators and executive producers Matt and Ross Duffer talked about the storyline for Stranger Things season 5: “We’ll pick up where we left off at the end of season 4. The kids are all back in school and there’s more super-scientific, supernatural stuff happening in Hawkins. Season five is going to be like dinner theatre for a Netflix audience chapter 1, Acts 1 and 2 but then it’s all going to play out in what we think will be an unbelievably satisfying way.
What are the reviews?
Reviews of season 4 were mixed. Review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes reports a 88% approval rating among critics, and an 86% audience approval rating. The Guardian called the season “taut, compelling and spectacularly unpretentious” and noted, “the show feels as fresh as it ever did”. The Telegraph gave season 3 out of 5 stars; the reviewer stated that a viewer was “in for a treat”, but be aware that the series has become “embroiled in its tropes”. In another positive review, The Irish Times wrote that it “still packs a punch” despite its familiarity with previous seasons.
