Everything About Action Adventurous Film ‘Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny’ Is Here

This past Wednesday Disney released the trailer for Indiana Jones 5, which is scheduled to hit theatres on June 30, 2022. The announcement of this new movie as well as the title came with a release of a teaser film that shows Harrison Ford returning to his iconic role. The trailer itself does not reveal much about the movie but it does show that this time around, Indy has traded in his whip for a gun and excellent driving skills. While the trailer is not particularly long (claimed to be less than two minutes), it does give fans a look at some of the events that are happening in this fifth part of the Indiana Jones franchise. The trailer ends with an intense fight in an ancient temple and it looks like we will finally get to see Harrison Ford’s iconic hat. The title also matches the trailer’s action-packed tone and it seems to suggest that there will be a lot of excitement in this movie.

What is the film about? 

Indy’s new adventure is set in the 90s, which means that he has aged significantly from the previous installments. Harrison Ford will be 77 by the time this film comes out and it remains to be seen how old he will appear in the movie. The title of Indiana Jones 5 doesn’t reveal much about the plot but it is assumed that this time around, Indiana Jones will face off against Voller, an ex-Nazi who was involved with NASA’s moon landing program. It looks like Indy decides to use his gun when he finds himself cornered by an army of soldiers. For some reason, the trailer shows us a lot of space-related scenes. The most prominent scene involves a spaceship that crashes in the middle of an ancient temple. There is also a great deal of suspense and Indiana once again finds himself in danger as he is surrounded by several soldiers. 

What can we expect from the film? 

As the title suggests, this film will take Indiana Jones to outer space. We know that the movie is supposed to be shot in 2019 and will be released in 2022, which means that we can expect a lot of action and special effects. The plot is expected to be as fun as the previous films but there is no doubt that it might have more of an intense tone than the previous films. This is especially because Harrison Ford will play an older version of his iconic character. As we all know, age doesn’t suit everyone and some things look better when they are younger.

Why should you watch this film?

Even though Harrison Ford is almost 80 years old, he convincingly portrays Indiana Jones. He has played the character of Indy in four films and this latest installment will be his last appearance as the famous archaeologist. This part of the franchise is also widely regarded to be the best one, mostly because it is a lot more action-packed than the previous installments. It looks like we can expect a lot of thrills and suspense so if you are a fan of Indiana Jones, then this upcoming film should not miss your watch list.
