‘Avatar: The Way Of Water’ is Also The Worthy Sequel, Reviews

Hollywood has a way of making sequels for popular movies. It is one of the most beloved traits, and yet it is also hated by some. Such is the case with James Cameron’s Avatar: The Way Of Water, just released today. This film was lauded by many moviegoers who adored the story of a human being who ends up in love with an alien race and joins them in their fight against humans that want to control their planet. The film was a box office hit, as well as being nominated for several awards and winning one or two. Avatar: The Way Of Water is the second part of the Avatar franchise. It picks up right near where the last movie ended. Hollywood is also known for giving sequels to fan-favorite stories, not just films or television shows. Such is the case with Avatar: The Worthy Sequel, which is a story that follows James Cameron’s Avatar(2009) which made 67.8 million dollars on its first day at the box office.

Release Date?

One of the most awaited films ‘Avatar: The Way Of Water was released on the 16th of December 2022. The film was made 67.8 million dollars on its first day of release.

What is the film about? 

The movie is about Jake Sully, who at the beginning of Avatar was a human who had just joined an alien race called the Navi to go to Pandora, their planet. He then falls in love with a Navi woman, Neytiri and they have a child together out there on Pandora. Neytiri and Jake have been living together as a part of the Navi, having a son and raising him. But all is not perfect for their relationship. Jake still has feelings for his old life on earth, which causes tension between them. As well as he worries that his son will be in danger from humans wanting to take over Pandora. When the humans return to finish what they were doing by capturing more Navi, Jake and Neytiri must put aside their problems to protect their family from being captured by the soldiers who want to imprison them so that they can use Pandora for themselves.

What makes this film interesting? 

One of the reasons this film is so interesting is because it has a higher number of viewers than its predecessor. This makes it a more popular film, leading to more people wanting to see it. Another reason this is such an interesting film is that the story itself is interesting, as well as the fact that its purpose may not be what the first film was. The first movie was about Jake Sully, who at a time had wanted to go to Pandora but couldn’t due to a military experiment he was involved with and his consequent crash landing on Pandora.

What are fan reviews?

Many people were excited to see the second film, being that the first one was so good. The movie was a box office hit on its opening weekend, making  67.8 million dollars, which was a large majority of the film’s total gross. Many critics said this was a good addition to the series, as it added more elements to it and enriched the story. James Cameron is a genius writer, director, and producer that knows how to write stories. The story writer flew through this new story in no time at all, going from writing one page, to another until he finished it five months later with just over 250 pages in total.
