Black Panther Sequel ‘Wakanda Forever’ See A Big Drop In Box Office Collection Day 4

As one of Marvel’s most anticipated and well received films, Black Panther looks to be a winner at the box-office. However, it has been reported that the film will see a low first week collection due to its poor performance on day four. The Marvel superhero film seems to be facing a challenge in the growing competition from Disney’s animated film, Aladdin. The film opened to an excellent start and had collected an amount of more than Rs 400 crore on day one. The movie witnessed decent growth on day two and also managed to score a good opening on day three as well. However, Black Panther didn’t seem to be able to hold up for much longer as the movie failed to perform well in the week that followed. It is reported that the film suffered a fall of over 60% in its box-office tally in the week following its release. Black Panther is not just another Marvel movie but is an anticipated Afrocentric superhero which is the culmination of decades of representation in Hollywood.
