The Action Comedy Film ‘Violent Night’ Is Set To Release In December

Celebrate the holidays with a brand new twist: Violent Night-the action comedy film starring David Harbour from Stranger Things as Santa. While it might be tough to recognize some of Santa’s (aka, David’s) character traits in this darker and thrilling (but humorous nonetheless) take on things, it’s all in the spirit of Yuletide. The film will be released December 2nd by Universal Pictures and is expected to appeal to fans of holiday-themed cinema that includes classic movies such as Die Hard or Lethal Weapon. Violent Night is directed by Tommy Wirkola and helped in the scripting department by Pat Casey and Josh Miller. The film tells the story of a town that is terrorized by a sadistic Santa Claus. After being denied entrance into the houses of several children, he makes it his mission to punish the naughty in his own special way. To prepare for this role, David Harbour worked with a trainer for four months to get back in peak shape.
