What do critics say about this miniseries?
“Compared to some of Clare’s earlier work, ‘Irreverent’ was a surprisingly hit-and-miss affair. Some of its more over-the-top scenes were entertaining, but the writing and dialogue were less than inspiring. This was a show that wasn’t well deserving of such high praise. It’s not often that the writers behind ‘The Texas Chainsaw Massacre can be accused of being lazy or unimaginative (although they are hardly flawless), but that is what one gets here.
