What is the series about?

A drama series following a group of different people from all walks of life and how their lives intersect with one another, where one wrong turn leads to another, until it’s too late to turn back. The series is based on the BBC’s original miniseries of the same name. Set in England, it was written by Charlie Higson, who went on to create the Young Bond series. The miniseries has been nominated for an Emmy, BAFTA and Golden Globe award. Accused will follow different people from all walks of life as they navigate through this complex web of lies that could lead them to a life in prison or even death. Numerous ‘Accused’ trailers and sneak peeks have already been released, where each has featured a different aspect of the show and the type of crime that happens on the show. They are sure to whet our appetites for more, as they demonstrate how each character will be affected by their actions or inactions.

What makes this series interesting?

In a time where crime dramas are becoming more and more common, the Accused series is worth watching because it doesn’t focus on the action or the drama, but with how each character is impacted by the crimes they have committed. This isn’t about who commits a crime or who gets caught for committing it. Accused will take viewers through each character’s point of view throughout each separate episode. What makes this series worth watching so much is how each episode will be told from one specific character’s perspective, as they try to get out of trouble that they themselves have put themselves into.
