‘28 Months Later’ The Sequel Of The Film 28 Days Later Hasn’t Happened Yet

‘28 Months Later’ The Sequel Of The Film 28 Days Later Hasn’t Happened Yet

28 Months Later, the sequel to the film 28 Days Later has not happened yet because Danny Boyle is busy with other projects. Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, who directed 28 Weeks Later is also busy with various projects. Speaking of which, 28 Weeks Later had a great ending which suggests that a third film would be made at some point and even though that hasn’t happened yet there are rumors that it might happen shortly. The idea of making a third film is being tossed around and it could be possible to happen sometime in the future. It is just unknown as of yet. This also has to do with the fact that 28 Days Later is not as popular as it once was. In addition, the second film was fairly decent but still was not well received by many people. (I thought of 28 Days Later as groundbreaking and the best zombie movie possibly ever made!) Regardless, 28 Months Later has not been confirmed but there are rumors that some people are looking into it.

What is the film ’28 days about?

28 Days Later is a 2002 science fiction horror film directed by Danny Boyle, and starring Cillian Murphy, Naomie Harris, Brendan Gleeson, and Christopher Eccleston. It follows a group of survivors in the aftermath of a smallpox pandemic that has turned most of the world’s population into violent zombies. The film was written by Alex Garland (writer of 28 Days Later), who also wrote the screenplay for Dredd. The movie is noted for its bleak subject matter and graphic violence, as well as its violence-free approach to zombies. It is considered not only one of the best zombie films but also a powerful commentary on the dangers of consumerism and mass media.

What is interesting about the film?

The movie has been well-received for its ability to explore the nature of the apocalypse and its aftermath. There is a huge difference between the near-future world of the film and our current state of affairs. A third film in the franchise may follow from 28 Weeks Later, but this is unconfirmed at this point. The concept is great, it would be cool to have a film that examines zombies in another area someplace else in the world.

What is the box office collection of the film?

The film was a success in the United Kingdom making over £6.1 million and in the United States making just under $45 million. In total it grossed just over $85.7 million at the box office. The film was nominated for Best Adapted Screenplay at the 2003 BAFTA Awards. Also, Juan Carlos Fresnadillo was nominated for Best Director at the same event.

What are fan reviews?

Fan reviews of the movie are very popular. One user on the website Metacritic gave it a “Metascore” of 76, which is considered good. The film also has a 7.8 rating on IMDb and an 87% fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes. It was also nominated for Best Cinematography at the 2003 British Society of Cinematographers Awards.
