The Fall Guy Is The Upcoming Action Drama Film

So far, details aren’t known about Taylor-Johnson’s role in the film but he is likely playing the young stuntman that replaced Gosling. The Limitless actor will next be seen as assassin James Reece in Universal and Sparkhouse Media’s upcoming action thriller Phantom, which also stars Ed Skrein, Bill Pope (The Matrix trilogy), and Ray Stevenson. He is also set to star in Legendary Entertainment’s Pacific Rim 2 opposite John Boyega (Star Wars: The Force Awakens) where he will play the son of Idris Elba‘s character from the original 2013 film directed by Guillermo del Toro for Warner Bros.

What will the movie be about?

The film’s storyline will revolve around a young stuntman who replaces a Hollywood star after the latter is kidnapped by criminals. As if that isn’t enough, the stuntman takes to the role of rescuing his new bosses as well. The film is based on the 1980s television series of the same name, which was created by Glen A. Larson. The TV series follows Hollywood stuntman and bounty hunter Colt Seavers (Gosling), who uses his rough-and-tumble skills to track down bail jumpers with some help from his partners, Agent Todd (Steven Bauer) and Agent Jane Baker (Bridgit Connell). However, in the new film, Gosling will play a past-his-time stuntman who finds himself back in a movie with the star he worked with a long time ago and is the one who replaced him. Things take a turn when the star goes missing in action.
