Ben Feigin The Executive Producer Of ‘Schitt’s Creek’ Is No More

The executive producer of Schitt’s Creek, Ben Feigin, has sadly passed on to the great beyond. Feigin was just 47 years old and leaves behind an incredible legacy that included creating a show that has won nearly every Canadian Screen Award under the sun. The reason this is a big deal is because people like Feigin are needed to create the next generation of television shows which are the lifeblood of TV in general and CBC in particular. CBC is fortunate enough to have had someone as gifted as him on staff for most of his career but it would not take much for this to become a problem. If the show is a huge hit and the creators manage to squeeze out another hundred episodes it will be a major loss for CBC. Ben Feigin was a huge part of the success of Schitt’s Creek and if he is not replaced, then that show will lose its creative spark. The show is increasing in popularity with each passing season.
