Star Trek: Picard Season 3 Trailer Reveals About An Unexpected Story

In a new trailer for the third season of Star Trek: Picard, Jean-Luc Picard is seen making a choice that the classic Star Trek would never have considered. The trailer starts with Admiral Picard giving a speech to some sort of crew. It then flashes back to Picard on a shuttle, shaking his head and asking “resignation?” When the pilot asks about the resignation, Picard says “no. I prefer something more final”.”I need you to help me,” he continues as he grabs what looks like a weapon from an orange container. The new season is set 25 years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis when the USS Enterprise-E was destroyed by Shinzon.

What is the series about?

In the trailer, Picard says, “This isn’t over. The fight is coming. I’m back in the game.” This suggests that he’s returning to his role as a diplomat and captain. In April, CBS also released a poster with Picard standing beside Patrick Stewart’s face. “The question isn’t ‘What’s your mission?’ The question is ‘Are you ready?’” it reads. Those words are likely related to the start of the trailer. This series is about all the space adventures Jean-Luc Picard has after the events of Nemesis. He’s been retired for a while but now he’s ready to return to the fight. The trailer suggests Picard will have to deal with Kazon and the Borg.

What makes this series interesting?

While most of Picard’s adventures were in The Next Generation, this series will explore them. It will be interesting to see how Picard has changed after 23 years. He’s lost friends and he’s been through some terrible things. This series will explore what happens next. Both reunions and new adventures are sure to be revealed. 

What fans are expecting from the upcoming season?

Fans are guessing that Picard is stuck in the Delta Quadrant with the Borg and unable to communicate with Starfleet. Maybe he’s trying to figure out a way to get home and prevent the assimilation of innocent people. Others have guessed that he’s found a way to fight the Borg, which would be an impressive feat indeed. Perhaps Picard has created some sort of shield that could protect him from their attacks. It would make sense for him to learn how to prevent them from absorbing people after being trapped in a ship with them for so long. It’s also possible that the trailer will be revealed as an elaborate joke on April Fool’s Day. Picard does survive being assimilated by the Borg at least twice. Whatever happens, fans can’t wait to find out.
