Minion is a movie about a group of yellow creatures who work for the title character, Gru (voiced by Steve Carell). When he realizes that his plans for world domination will require more and more minions, he decides to start an entire empire. The minions take on various roles such as butlers, bodyguards, and cannons. As they try to recruit new members into their covert operation they are met with rejection at every turn. From failed experiments in genetics to botched attempts at capturing the world’s most notorious villains.

What is the movie about?

Minions tell the story of one young boy’s dream to become a supervillain. The story is told from his point of view and through his minions’ eyes. As the story unfolds you learn about their lives away from Gru. You learn that Gru has been gone for several years, but the minions have only the dimmest memory of his existence. They continue to carry out a list of things that Gru asked them to do. They aren’t sure what this list is for or why it is important, but they continue to complete one item after another. The minions range in ability from the really intelligent ones who are good at inventing and building things, to the more goofy and stupid ones who are better with animals or at coming up with ideas and experiments.

What makes this movie interesting?

This movie is interesting because it shows something that you don’t see often in films. It is a side of the world that most people don’t think about when they are going about their day-to-day lives. The majority of movies and TV shows only focus on humans, but this movie focuses on the little creatures that no one pays much attention to. When was the last time you saw a movie with these little round yellow creatures as the main characters? They are mainly used as an object in other films or they are used as background characters just for decoration.

I loved this movie 100%. It is something that I would watch over and over again. They did a fantastic job with this movie. The voices that were chosen for the characters fit perfectly, the clothes and scenery were perfect, and every aspect of the film was amazing. The only thing that could have been done better is if it was longer so I could have watched more of it. Other than that one tiny flaw everything was perfect. I would not change a single thing about this movie. It is perfect in every way possible! I give this movie an A+.
