A plot of Season 2:
La Brea, the upcoming series from NBC, follows the harrowing story of a family struggling to survive after a massive sinkhole opens in Los Angeles and pulls them into a mysterious and dangerous primeval land where they have no choice but to band together to survive. In season 2, in the Harris family, Eve (Natalie Zea) was struggling with her son Josh’s (Jack Martin) disappearance and Gavin (Eoin Macken) was attempting to move on with his wife’s memory (Hannah Ware) when a massive sinkhole opened and moved them all into a terrifying prehistoric Los Angeles. The producers said they want to take the family back in time again but to a different era. Producer Avi Nir gave an interview that he decided to move the Harris family into another period after he saw Will Smith’s I Am Legend. In that movie, humanity was wiped out by a virus. Now the second season of La Brea is moving into the time of dinosaurs and other creatures who once ruled this planet before humans came along.
