Florence Pugh Casts In All New Psychological-Thriller “The Wonder”

When “Stranger Things” took over the world this summer, it threw me back into nostalgia for my childhood. I am incredibly grateful that it exists because if “The Silent Twins” didn’t exist, I never would’ve thought to watch them. “The Silent Twins,” tells the story of a pair of twins who are obsessed with contacting the dead and trying to talk to them. But rumors (that aren’t real) spread about them, so people think that they are devils and cast them away from society. The twins’ relationship is incredibly beautiful and engaging, but it’s also kind of creepy. Their obsession with contacting the dead is a pure form of unconditional love and it should be talked about more in the media.

The movie is worth watching if you want to learn about twins with different personalities and how they deal with the world. I wish I had seen this movie years ago. I think a lot of people will enjoy it and I can’t wait for Netflix to release more movies like it.

“The Silent Twins” only made $36,000 at the box office but I’m not surprised. This movie is kind of like an art film that serious fans of cinema would appreciate, but it’s also a fairy tale and those types of movies don’t usually make money.
