“Waterboy” (1998) : One Of The Best Football Movies

A good movie, though, can be a little more than just a knowledge-giver. A good film offers a look at the world that isn’t likely to be offered in books. It offers the celluloid version of life, and you’re more likely to take something away from it. One of the most debated films of 1998 and one of the number one films in the comedy genre that year, “The Waterboy” stars Adam Sandler and comes from a script by Tim Herlihy and Adam Sandler himself. It was the film that catapulted the rising actor, Adam Sandler, to stardom. What you may not be aware of is that this movie has a lot more going on in it than just a simple comedy. It truly is an enjoyable film for all audiences.

My ratings and reviews on this film:
I give “The Waterboy” a 9.5 out of 10 stars rating. The film is a comedy flick that can be enjoyed by persons of all ages and backgrounds. My review of this film is that it is one of Sandler’s best films to date. I enjoyed the film from beginning to end. Most people would say this movie is only meant for children but it does have some adult humor as well that you wouldn’t expect to see in a kid’s film. I am pretty sure anyone who has seen this movie once will want to see it again, which is why I view it as one of Sandler’s best movies ever made.
