‘Hellraiser’(2022) Images Show Jamie Clayton’s Pinhead

The Hellraiser sequel, simply titled Hellraiser 2022, is a followup to the first film in Clive Barker’s horror trilogy. We got the first look of Jamie Clayton as pinhead in this upcoming horror film ‘Hellraiser’. Jamie Clayton was born on January 15, 1978. She is an American actress and model. She is well-known for her work in the Netflix original series Sense8’, she also worked in Designated Survivor. She was raised in California and then moved on to New York City to become a makeup artist.  In this reimagining of Clive Barker’s seminal Hellraiser franchise, a young woman must confront the sadistic, supernatural forces behind an enigmatic puzzle box responsible for her brother’s disappearance.

This movie is set in the year 2022, roughly 30 years after the events of the first movie. We know that Julia Cotton’s brother has been missing since 1988 and that she believes her brother was buried alive. 

Movie Plot:

The story of this upcoming Hellraiser focuses on a character named Riley who is a young woman suffering from addiction and compulsive behavior, this character is played by Odessa Action. It is also shown that she accidentally finds a puzzle box and unleashes horror when she tries to solve it. Here Goran Visnjic also joins the character in solving the mysterious puzzle. 

What makes this movie interesting to watch?

The idea of a Hellraiser movie with Pinhead is, frankly, terrifying. But I’m all for seeing new stories told in the Hellraiser universe. And I have to admit that the idea of Jamie Clayton being this film’s main character and the protagonist is very exciting to me. Predrag Bjelac is also a good actor and, in movies like Gangster Ka, he played characters who were damaged by their tragic pasts. 

What are fans expecting from this upcoming movie?

This movie seems to be set in a dystopian future, which means it’s pretty much guaranteed that there will be no returning characters from the first Hellraiser movie.  Since it’s a sequel to ‘The Hellraiser franchise, fans are expecting the Cenobites and Pinhead to make an appearance. I imagine that Pinhead may be the antagonist for this movie, but he’ll probably make an appearance as a minor character, at least.
