Story of The Red Sonja

This movie follows the story of a female warrior who is destined to be Queen of the Universe. Red Sonja’s quest for revenge leads her across the land and into battle with unimaginable creatures. But with the help of a mysterious druid, Sonja can defeat the cruel Al-Al Mohammed – ruler of the land of Shem – and become the new queen. The international version changed some plot points in keeping with its English market. One of these changes included eliminating a scene involving an execution by fire. In certain scenes, there were two very different versions: German audio-only dubbing and English audio-only dubbing.

Matilda Lutz, Wallis Day, and Robert Sheehan Will Star in Millennium Media’s Adaptation of the Comic Book Movie “Red Sonja.”

Red Sonja is one of the most iconic female characters in comics. The film is a modern take on the character who was born a princess but enslaved and raped by her father’s enemy. Red Sonja was just 16 years old when this tragic event took place. After managing to escape from her captors, she hunted down those responsible for enslaving her, slaughtering them with a fury that would set off waves of fear throughout their land. Now she lives as an exile on land that she refuses to call home while still being haunted by her past. There is a lot that Barbara Ann Minerva, The She-Devil with a Sword, regrets from her youthful years but the one thing that she has no desire to reclaim is the name of “Red.”
