The movie is about Emily’s experience in the legal system, and most of the drama takes place in the trial.
Emily quickly gets wrapped up in a murder investigation and her life takes an unexpected turn as she becomes a legal forensic analyst. She discovers that she cheats on her clients with another lawyer with whom she works closely. The main conflict revolves around Emily’s firm client who is in jail for killing his wife. But things get much more complicated when the firm’s biggest client, who happens to be the prime suspect, is arrested and charged with first-degree murder.
Emily immediately gets a wealth of evidence in the form of photographs and a diary, which connects the client to the crime. But, she gets more than she bargained for when the client’s case becomes her own. The movie opens with Emily arriving at work. Her internal monologue talks about how much she struggles each day to make ends meet. Emily describes herself as being from humble beginnings and how coming from poverty has made her appreciate money above everything else in life.
Is The Movie Worth Watching?
Emily The Criminal is well worth watching for a couple of reasons. First, it is a modern twist on the classic crime drama, and it does not have a lot of the same elements as older movies. This movie is highly original, and it incorporates modern technology into a criminal investigation. Emily uses her smartphone to take pictures of evidence that link the suspects to crimes they committed. She then emails these pictures directly to detectives who are in charge of the investigation. Emily’s boss also has an important role in this movie because she is trying to find out who leaked information to their big client before the trial even began. Emily goes behind her boss’s back by hiring her rival to gain information about what happened.
My Rating And Review About The Movie :
I enjoyed Emily The Criminal by John Patton Ford because it was original and relatable. I had not seen a movie like this before, and some aspects made me enjoy the story more. I also thought the acting in this film was excellent, especially from Emily’s boss and the lead detective played by DeWitt Bodeen. This was a much different kind of movie for John Patton Ford to direct, but he rose to the challenge quite well. Emily The Criminal is highly entertaining with many interesting twists, and it is worth watching for all audiences.
