Introduction to The Locke & Key Season 3

The third and final season of Locke & Key is an eleven-episode arc that starts with the return of Dodge Carstairs, the primary antagonist from Season 1. The narrative also returns to Kinsey’s story, which was left incomplete at the end of Season 2. It explores revenge, redemption, and sacrifice as Kinsey seeks to avenge her mother’s death by finally killing Dodge. This season also includes guest appearances from several well-known actors, including Mark Hamill reprising his role as Mr. Sam Lesser from Netflix’s Stranger Things for one episode; and Tom Mison returning for one episode as he reprises his role of Inspector Roderick Eddington from the Fox TV series “Sleepy Hollow”.

Story of The Locke & Key Season 3

It’s been a long time coming for writer Joe Hill and artist Gabriel Rodriguez since their breakout hit The Walking Dead, but it’s finally happened! They’ve announced that season three has begun production on June 7th with a new 10-episode order! Back in 2010, Universal Cable Productions ordered Locke & Key, a family drama wrapped in a horror story. Rodriguez came up with the concept, and Hill said the first thing he saw was Gabriel’s artwork (see below). The 10-episode series debuted to an audience of 2.4 million viewers for its premiere on August 2nd, 2013. It only ran for one short season before it was canceled by Fox. The project was still supported by both the television studio and production company, Cryptic Pictures. Today, fans of the horror comic “Locke & Key” will learn if Baddie Dodge is returning to the acclaimed television series. The Hauntingly Beautiful Baddie Dodge was a silent character that was one of many children brought to Keyhouse in Season 2. Also, before being killed by Alexandra Locke at the end of that season. There were rumors earlier this summer that she would be back and now it appears as though those rumors are true – although not for long. Baddie’s only episode will air on Monday, September 3rd’s episode titled “The End”. Although it is still unknown what her role will be in Season 3 and whether or not her death in Season 2 was just a dream sequence.
