With their only source of income, the bed and breakfast, not yet in operation, they try to find a new way to earn money by turning their home into a paranormal-themed tourist spot. The gamble seems to pay off when they are contacted by mysterious Mr. Combes who offers them $500 000 in return for living with his two failed ghosts: Max and Emma. However, the offer is taken away before it can be finalized when Jay learns that Mr. Combes lives on borrowed time and needs the beds for himself since he is about to die.

What is the plot of the story?

At the beginning of the story, they are a newly married couple who inherited a large country estate after their parents died. Keeping their bride and groom status with no income that they can rely on, they try to find a new way to earn money. They hire a guru of love spells off the TV and manage to get really rich twins desperate for cash, to get men’s phone numbers. For some reason, this doesn’t work out as well as they had hoped so they decide to change their plans and turn into ghost hunters.

Who is in the cast? What role did each character portray?

The cast includes Rose Mclver, Sheila Carrasco, Utkarsh Ambudkar, Brandon Scott Jones, and Samantha McGee. The characters portrayed by Rose, Sheila, Brandon, and even Rose are all interesting. For example, Brandon as a character was very good in how he portrayed a ghost hunter who believed that spirits were real. Also, his character left his wife alone while he went on a ghost hunting trip with his ghost hunting partner without telling her first. The only flaw he had was that he was very gruff in the way he spoke and acted but other than that the show was very interesting to watch.

What are the difficulties they faced?

The ghosts didn’t keep their end of the deal and scared people into staying at the bed and breakfast. They also made a television show without first checking if it would blow up in their face. Also, Max’s ghost sister was the one filming it in the first place. Later on, in season 2, Jay finds out that his wife Samantha is pregnant and Max (the ghost) moves into her uterus to protect the baby from outside harm. However, later on in season two, he dies so he has to go into some sort of limbo or something like that where he is hanging out with other ghosts who get to hang out with him because they were all loved ones who died by some unnatural cause when they were alive.

Who is the antagonist? What are its motives?

In season one, the main antagonist is named Mr. Combes. He wants to build a time machine instead of a regular ghost hunting business so he can go back in time and change his brother’s death. This causes a lot of problems because he lies to the ghost hunters to get them to live with him and his two ghosts until he dies.

What are the epic scenes?

Once again, the show was very interesting to watch. The epic scenes were when they had to go out and buy two ghosts. And when they had to get a ghost hunting license which didn’t exist in real life except in this TV show. Their TV show caused a ghostly apocalypse that nearly destroyed the world in season 2 (I forgot what it is called.) but stopped when Max went into Samantha’s womb.

Who is the most loved character?

Once again, Brandon was the most popular character. He was loved by many people who watched the show and that is why it is a great show because of his character. He also had many ups and downs in the series. In season 1, he started with a job where he worked with a ghost hunter named Samantha McGee. The sex, the love, and the friendship all brewed together to create a very interesting TV show. The only sad thing was when he and she broke up, but he sort of came back in season 2 and they got back together again.

Would you recommend watching this?

Absolutely. It is a very interesting show to watch! It has great characters and the plot is very exciting. I recommend watching the first season and maybe season 2 if you like it. (If you like me liked the show as much as I did.) If you can find it, you should also check out “The Haunted” which is a similar show with the supernatural instead of ghosts being the antagonists.
