Story of The Wheel of Time Season 2
The Wheel of Time is an epic fantasy series created by author Robert Jordan that spans over 15 books. Season 2 begins when Rand author, the boy who grew up to become the man now known as ’The Dragon Reborn’, is out cold in a stable. He awakes to find himself surrounded by men who seem to be ‘slaves’ but he quickly realizes that they are all wearing the colors of one of twelve ancient orders of Tar Valon. Julianna, a woman Rand came to know in his youth, is among them and she tells him that he has been brought there by the Horn of Valere to serve the Light.
As a powerful channeler who can be summoned from other worlds, Rand is not the only one who was brought here by the Horn. Loial, an Ogier, is also present. Local cannot channel but he can read the books written by his kind and know how to find them in the world outside the city of Tar Valon. They are unique because they are among the only Earth people who can read and write – something only women in the past were able to do. Rand remembers being told stories of a world woven together by these cities of Tar Valon and that he would be summoned by the Horn when the time was right.
