Black Panther 2 Will Not Have Daniel Kaluuya

Marvel has reportedly decided to not bring Game of Thrones actor Daniel Kaluuya back for Black Panther 2, according to Collider. Kaluuya would not be the first MCU star to receive such treatment. Captain America: Civil War stars Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan were featured in Avengers: Infinity War but will not appear in the next Cap film. Marvel declined to comment on Collider’s report, so it is unclear if Kaluuya will return for Black Panther 3. Or if this was a temporary experiment that didn’t work out as planned. The actor’s contract may have expired or Marvel may want more time. Similarly, before deciding on a major plot point in its sequel trilogy.

The movie pits T’Challa against Erik Killmonger and shows how the King of Wakanda continues to fight for his people and for those who are oppressed around the world. Marvel Studios previews this thrilling blockbuster in a series of new videos that include commentary from Ryan Coogler, director of BLACK PANTHER and THE BLACK PANTHER: WAKANDA FOREVER, as well as behind-the-scenes footage with cast members Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa/Black Panther, Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger, Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia and Danai Gurira as Okoye.
This film is sure to be a thrill for Marvel fans and those who are new to the Marvel Universe. In an interview with star Chadwick Boseman, he described what it was like to put on the Black Panther suit. It’s amazing… There have been times where I’ve done this whole thing without having a mask, or with a partial mask — you know when there’s just like a little eyepiece or something like that — but there is something special about putting on the entire suite itself…It does kind of bring you into another world.
